The IPPAI Legal & Tax Summit is an annual event where the latest legal and fiscal developments relevant to the energy sector are deliberated and recommendations made to central and state ministries including the Ministries of Finance, Power, Petroleum Oil & Gas, as also the Planning Commission, PNGRB, CERC and state regulatory commissions for their consideration and incorporation in policy making and in regulating the sector. Key learning points from the event are published and disseminated to important stakeholders throughout the world.
The previous IPPAI Legal & Tax Summit was held on May 29-30, 2009 at Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi with eminent speaker participation and delegate participation from Regulators, Government, Industry, Lawyers, Law Firms, Tax Firms and Financial Institutions. The Summit initiated debate and discussions on some of the key regulatory, legal, and fiscal issues in the development of the power, oil and gas sectors.
The Legal & Tax Summit 2010 will focus on various Legal and Tax Issues in the Power, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Sectors; where we propose to re-examine important issues covered in the previous conference and also deliberate new issues that have emerged since the last summit.
