The Regulators & Policymakers Retreat is an annual flagship event organized by the Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI). It is a unique platform that gives you the chance to interact with the leading thinkers and doers of the world to discuss, debate and possibly reconcile differing perspectives and worldviews in order to better understand the way ahead for a better, safer, sustainable tomorrow.
This year, the Retreat will be held from 21st – 25th July 2010 at The Fort Aguada Beach Resort in Goa, India.
IPPAI has been at the forefront of using debate and dialogue as a mechanism to highlight the vexing issues that nations face today as they march ahead into the future. Issues that need cerebral resolution so that the politics of the day can find them worthy of adoption.
The retreat is divided into the following themes: Day 1: Globalisation Day 2: Security Day 3: Governance Day 4: World View. Each of these areas will need to be examined for challenges faced in development, discussions on symptomatic and causative solutions, arriving at fundamental solutions to dealing with such issues and working out the way ahead a few eminent people speaking at the confrence are ;
